Mario Agustoni is Nominated Person Flight Operation Helicopter with Swiss Air-Rescue Rega and is responsible for the Helicopter Procedures and Training division. He is also a flight instructor and validation pilot for instrument flight procedures with flight experience of more than 8,000 hours. In addition to his duties as NPFO and member of the Rega Executive Board, he is involved in the development and introduction of helicopter specific IFR procedures (PinS/Helicopter RNP AR) in Switzerland, as well as in the introduction of the latest available technology for rescue flights. He obtains the flight validation pilot license on 2018 and plays an important role in the introduction of LFN routes and PinS procedures, certifying, and describing procedures in the operations manual and in the preparation of training courses. Current Role David is the CEO of Health Standards Aotearoa New Zealand which is a national body responsible for the design, development, and continuous review of health service standards across Aotearoa. Our purpose is to enhance equity, quality, and safety in the delivery of health services through a cohesive and forward-looking standards framework that reflects the unique needs of Aotearoa’s NZ people. David is also a Director of the DAA Group and leads a number of key health standard projects in his role as Director of Strategic Initiatives, and Chair of the Australian Capital Territories (ACT) rescue helicopter service (ACT & SE NSW Aero medical Service Ltd).
